The ACC Network on DirecTV is typically found on channel 612, though this can vary slightly depending on your specific regional package and whether you subscribe to the Sports Pack or a higher-tier entertainment bundle. The network launched in 2019 as a dedicated home for Atlantic Coast Conference coverage, and DirecTV was among the early carriers to strike a carriage agreement. For viewers in the United Kingdom who access DirecTV via satellite or streaming alternatives, the channel number remains consistent across most stateside feeds. It is worth confirming with your provider whether the ACC Network is included in your base package or requires an add-on, as this directly affects your monthly costs and the breadth of sports content you can enjoy. The network also broadcasts via the DirecTV app, allowing you to stream matches on mobile devices, tablets and smart televisions while travelling throughout the UK.

What Programming to Expect Throughout the Sporting Calendar

The ACC Network's schedule is remarkably diverse, offering far more than just live football and basketball. During the autumn months, you will find extensive coverage of American football, including multiple conference matchups each Saturday alongside studio analysis programmes such as ACC Huddle and ACC Kickoff. Winter brings wall-to-wall basketball, with both men's and women's games broadcast throughout the week, plus original documentaries and classic game replays. Spring and summer feature baseball, softball, lacrosse and track and field events, meaning there is rarely a quiet period on the channel. For UK fans, the time difference can be challenging, with evening fixtures on the American east coast often starting between midnight and 2am British time. Fortunately, DirecTV's cloud DVR functionality allows you to record games overnight and watch at a more convenient hour, while the ACC Network Extra streaming service provides supplementary coverage of sports that do not make the linear television schedule.
