Seth Meyers and Wife - Free HD Wallpaper Download 2025

When you watch Seth Meyers crack jokes on Late Night, it is easy to forget that behind the desk sits a devoted husband and father of three. The comedian, best known for his sharp wit on Saturday Night Live and his long-running talk show, has been married to Alexi Ashe since 2013 — and their love story is one of the most grounded in late-night television. From a serendipitous first meeting to building a busy family life in New York City, here is a closer look at the couple fans rarely see on screen.

How Seth Meyers Met His Wife, Alexi Ashe

The couple's origin story sounds like something out of a rom-com. Seth and Alexi were introduced by mutual friends in 2008, and the chemistry was immediate. Alexi, a former federal prosecutor and human rights lawyer, was not fazed by the fact that Seth was a rising star on Saturday Night Live. In fact, she reportedly had no idea who he was when they first met — a detail Seth loves to share in interviews. That grounded, down-to-earth quality is exactly what drew him to her. After five years of dating, Seth popped the question in 2013, and the pair tied the knot that same year in a beautiful ceremony on Martha's Vineyard, surrounded by close friends and family.

Balancing Late Night Fame with Family Life

While Seth commands the studio audience every weeknight, home is where his heart truly is. The couple welcomed their first son, Ashe, in 2016, followed by a second son, Axel, in 2018, and a daughter, Adelaide, in 2021. Seth has often spoken about how fatherhood changed his perspective on everything, even comedy. Fans of the show will remember how he proudly announced each birth on air, and how he weaves hilarious stories about parenting into his monologues. Alexi, for her part, continues her important advocacy work, focusing on criminal justice reform and supporting survivors of domestic violence through her role with Sanctuary for Families. Together, they make a formidable team — one side making the country laugh, the other fighting for those who need a voice.

What makes this couple so endearing to audiences is their obvious mutual respect. Seth frequently credits Alexi for keeping him humble and grounded, while she has described him as a hands-on dad who is just as comfortable changing nappies as he is delivering a punchline. Whether they are walking their dog Frisbee around Brooklyn or cheering from the audience at his show, the Meyers family radiates the kind of warmth that no amount of Hollywood polish can fake. In an industry full of whirlwind romances, Seth Meyers and Alexi Ashe prove that the best love stories are built on laughter, kindness, and a shared sense of purpose.
